These are a few shots and angles that i could use when filming. Here is have researched 'High angle' and 'Canted angle'. With 'High angle' (Birds eye view) i could use this when filming so that the camera basically catches my subject and focuses on that specific subject from a higher point of view. I find that with this you can catch more in the camera. With 'Canted angle' i find that it is fairly similar to 'High angle' because with this angle it also focuses on the subject from a higher perspective but having the camera more tilted to a certain degree.
I could use 'Close up' when filming because i find that it gives the audience a type of relationship with individual characters better, also helping them to understand who the main character is if there if an ongoing closeup of that specific character or subject.
Long Shot - This camera shot can be used so that the audience can see the entire action also looking at the characters so that you can see there costume, if they dress scruffy etc. This helps the audience understand a lot about the characters because you can see them from head to toe.

Over the shoulder shot in more detail - This camera shot i think is to connect to the audience. The audience is witnessing the scene from a different angle as if they are they.
This is a shot which i find is like the characters point of view, sometimes including there head in the shot but in less focus. This occurs usually when two characters are engaging with one another framing the scene.

Mid Shot - Mid shot can be used when filming to focus on a characters costume only from half way up. It is a shot from a medium distance away where there is little detailed focus but still enough focus to see what is happening in the shot.

Close up - This is to get a much clearer view of an object, zooming in and focusing on them.
This shot can usually create an attachment to a character, giving a better view of each individual in a shot.
Extreme close up on the face - This when filming helps the audience to understand the characters better especially focusing on their facial expressions so they can not just build a relationship with the character but also see the relationships between the other characters better. During filming i would use this camera shot when focusing on individual characters to show their emotions and expressions better, helping the audience understand what type of character they are just by looking at the basics.
By doing this task it has helped me understand the different shots that are used in media, helping me to explore how each shot can make a difference. I got to understand that each shot can have an impact on the audience, making them more aware of individual characters, allowing them to explore each characteristic.
For example, this could also make it clearer to the audience on what is going to take place, so they automatically know not to get too attached to those characters. Researching these different 'Camera Shots/Angles' has also encouraged me to use them when filming as i know different ones can create tension and have an impact. Whilst filming it can give the characters high or lower statuses, showing who particular scenes focus on.
