Film Development over time

I believe that over time films have changed, developing and portraying what is seen differently. Films have gone from being black and white on tapes, including moving (flashing) images to currently being on a DVD, Television, and also a range of other medias such as different websites on the internet. Nowadays they can be transformed and remade into three dimensional and four dimensional filming. This is were it can appear that you are apart of movie having a realistic experience of watching it and also being involved in it because its almost as if it is live in your face.

Back then when films were on tape you had to rewind the tape all the way to the beginning of the film over and over again if you wanted to re-watch it but now it is automatically done as the films are on DVD’s and the internet etc.

For Horror movies it started off as black and white Gothic movies with barely any Horror correlations, but they have now transformed into supernatural, gory type of films. The Actors have become more and more experienced having their acting seem realistic so that the audience can feel a part of the film. This builds a relationship with the Actors/ Actresses whilst watching these films because you feel like you can relate to them better.

I think that films have changed over time due to the roles and the actors/actresses. Back then for certain types of films there would be more males then females acting and sometimes males would have acted out the female roles. Now films are involving more females actresses.
