Questionnaire.

I made a questionnaire on survey monkey, this was to understand what i need to do to make a successful horror movie. I have asked questions such as 'what do you like about horrors and what makes them successful?', 'what could be improved in horror movies and what do horror movies need more of?'. I think to have made this a successful questionnaire I could have asked a lot more people so that I get better results and a wider range of examples to use to help me.

 By asking a more wider range i could have used comparisons and see what girls think of horrors and would like to include compared to a guys aspect of horror films and what they want to see in the horror films. This way i could see the differences and stereotypes.

More boys than girls answered this questionnaire and it makes me suggest that depending on the type of horror boys watch horror movies more than girls. Looking at my results I can also infer that people watch Horror movies on 'other' more than TV, they watch horror's on mainly film websites. On the other hand i think that this is mainly because i asked more boys than girls to fill out my questionnaire.

A lot of people that answered stated that they prefer supernatural/ Possession rather than gory etc. As this is more preferred i have decided to make my movie a possession type based story where it relates to social media, a killer character that is never shown follows his victims as they are running away screaming. He is a twisted killer and as he follows and tortures his victims he records it on his phone and posts it on social media so the world can see these brutal activities.
